YOU NEVER GET A SECOND CHANCE TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION

Before you go out make sure you’re well-groomed and well-dressed. You need to make sure you’re presenting the very best version of yourself. Decide what you want to wear ahead of time. Doing this the day or night before works great, in case you want to wash your favorite shirt to make a great impression. Make sure you pick something you know you look good in. It’s important to feel confident when you’re approaching the girl of your dreams. 

BODY LANGUAGE SPEAKS VOLUMES

Be careful to watch how you’re holding yourself. Make sure to stand up straight. Posture is one of the things that will set you apart from the slouching masses. And don’t forget to  show your pearly whites—it’s way more inviting and makes you seem much more attractive. No one wants to talk to someone with a scowl on their face. Then look for visual cues. If you’ve got your eye on someone and they keep making eye contact, take that as a good sign and think about what you’re going to say. 

MAKE THE FIRST MOVE

This is where most guys try and play it safe. You don’t want to use a cheesy pick up line or tell a joke that falls flat. Just be direct. Tell her you noticed them from across the room and wanted to come over and say “hi”. If she’s responsive, then move forward to Step #4!

LAY THE GROUNDWORK

Pay them an honest, heartfelt compliment, perhaps something like, “You’ve got a great laugh,” works well. Ask her questions about herself and try and use her first name as it tends to establish an immediate sense of intimacy. Then start hinting to the fact you’d like to see her again. Dating specialists refer to this “seeding.” Talk about your favorite foods and try to really make it sound spectacular, saying “You’ve got to check it out it,” or  “When we go there, you’ve got to try the desserts!.” It’s not to difficult to get someone’s number when you’ve already made plans together.

SEAL THE DEAL

Don’t just ask for her number, everybody can do that, set yourself apart. Remind her of that “awesome restaurant” you want to take her to. This gives you a reason to say something like “Why don’t you give me your number and I’ll call you to make plans”. Then when the evening arrives, prepare to sweep her off her feet!
